Look for us here too!

2010 is the Year of the Volunteer in Sisters!  The mayor of Sisters, Lon Kellstrom, made this Proclamation and is encouraging everyone to donate an additional 10 hours of volunteer time this year.  Please consider supporting your favorite causes!  Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show will have special recognition for volunteers that make the 10 hour commitment for our events.  Scroll down to see how you can get involved.  Thank You!

Sisters Quilt Show™ is made possible through the efforts of, literally, hundreds of volunteers.  In 2010 - 594 volunteers did 839 different jobs totaling 2,450 hours of donated help.  When we say we couldn't do it without you - we're not kidding!

Volunteer Program Sponsor
Volunteer Recognition Event Sponsors contribute $2,500 or more of cash  or "in kind" products and services.  Our sponsor for this program is:

Benefits of Volunteering!

Sisters Quilt Show™ donates a portion of proceeds annually to the school and community groups of Sisters.  The more volunteer help we have the less support we have to hire; allowing us to donate
more to those worthy groups.

As a token of our appreciation we try to have a small thank you gift for everyone who helps out with the show.

Opportunity for a large token of appreciation:  Each year we select a Volunteer of the Year who receives a gift certificate to a local art gallery to thank them for their contribution to our show.

Hopefully a warm and fuzzy feeling for having been part of making the Sisters Quilt Show™ happen!

Volunteers who work 2 or more hours will be entered into a drawing for some great thank you gifts donated by our sponsors.

Volunteers who donate 10 or more hours are entered in a drawing for some REALLY GREAT thank you gifts, including a quilt made each year especially for a volunteer gift.
